Flomena Chepchirchir

Flomena Chepchirchir (born 1 December 1981) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road races.

In 2002 she won the Cursa Bombers 2003 and 2002 and the Saragossa Half Marathon.

In 2006, she won the Stadsloop Appingedam and was fourth at the Great Scottish Run. The following year, victories followed the half-marathon competition of the Utrecht Marathon, at the 25 km from Berlin and at Zwolle Half Marathon second place at the Alster and a fourth place at the Dam tot Damloop.

In 2008 she won the Venloop and Zwitserloot Dak run, defended her title in Utrecht and Zwolle, was second in the 25 km from Berlin and fourth at the Great Scottish Run.

To kick off the 2011 season she managed to leap in performance when CPC Loop Den Haag, which she won in 1:09:06 h. After a third place in Rabat Half Marathon she won again at the 25 km from Berlin and in Zwolle. Running a second place in the Stadsloop Appingedam and a third place in Carinthia was followed by a victory in the Great Scottish Run. In her debut on the 42,195 - km - distance she finished third at the Frankfurt Marathon.

In 2012 she finished fourth at Egmond Half Marathon, Tenth the Seoul International Marathon and second in the Prague Marathon. A victory at the Lille Half Marathon followed by a fourth place at the Berlin Marathon.

2013 she succeeded after a second place at Egmond Half Marathon in Seoul their first victory over the marathon distance. When Zwolle Half Marathon, she was third, while Dam Damloop dead and the Frankfurt Marathon each second.
