Florennes is a municipality in the province of Namur in the Walloon region of Belgium.
It consists of the districts Florennes, Corenne, Flavion, Hanzinelle, Hanzinne, Hemptinne, Morialmé, Morville, Rosee, Saint- Aubin and Thy- le- Bauduin.
Nationally known the community was through the deployment of U.S. cruise missiles mid-1980s as a result of the NATO Double-Track Decision on the local military airfield.
