Florent Perrier

Florent Perrier (born 26 June 1973) is a French ski mountaineer. He is president of the Athletes' Commission in the management Committee for Competition Ski Mountaineering the Union Internationale des Associations d' Alpinisme ( UIAA ).

Success (selection)

Perrier was 2004 world champion in team with Patrick Blanc and in the season and in the combined times Tier 1 He took 1st place in the 2005 World Cup in Salt Lake City and in a team with Grégory Gachet at the European Championships in Andorra as a team with the Gachet 1. place and 2nd place singles and vertical race and fourth place in the relay with Bertrand Blanc, Grégory Gachet and Tony Sbalbi. In 2006, he placed himself in a team with Gachet at the World Championships on the 2nd place and won the race in the Swiss Championship vertical race, followed by his compatriot Tony Sbalbi and Swiss Alexander Hug, who was the first Swiss official Swiss Champion title at the event. In 2007 he achieved first place at the European Championship in the vertical race in individual and team competition, also with Gachet. This he also reached the first place in the combined score.
