Florian Gruber

Florian Gruber ( born January 26, 1983 in Vilsbiburg ) is a German racing driver.

Career

Gruber started his motorsport career in 1994 in karting, where he was active until 1999. In 2000 he moved to touring car racing and went to the German Volkswagen Lupo Cup. After he had finished eighth in his debut season, 2001, he was third in the championship. In the next season he drove the Bilstein Touring Car Cup and took there the first place. In the following season, he competed in the German Touring Car Challenge ( DTC) and won the championship in the second division.

Mid-2004 Gruber in the German SEAT Leon Supercopa. After he is in his first season and the eighth in 2005 to fourth place in the standings, he won his first race in 2006 in the race series and decided the championship.
