Florian Hill

Florian Hill ( born April 9, 1984 in Weilburg ) is a German mountaineer.

Life

Florian Hill grew up in the central Hessian community Lahnau and spent his youth as a boxer in competitive sports. In 2003 he ended his athletic career at the Olympic Training Center in Frankfurt an der Oder.

At the age of 19 he made ​​his first expedition to the Arctic Circle. Huskies Travel to Alaska and the Yukon Territory, Canada, followed. For the professional musher Hill teams trained for the dogsled race Finnmarksløpet, Yukon Quest and Iditarod in the long distance and for the Junior World Championships in the sprint area. Family

Hills first cousin is the German film director and Grimme Prize winner Kilian Riedhof. His uncle is the former national ice hockey player Anton courtier.
