Florian Vogel

Florian Vogel ( born February 18, 1982 in Aarau ) is a Swiss mountain bikers.

In the junior categories, Florian Vogel numerous places of honor at continental and world championships. Among other things, he won a 2nd place at the Junior European Championships in 2000 and third places at the European and World Championships in 1999. In the U23 category, he finished second at the European Championships in 2002 and third in the World Championships 2003.

In 2005 he won the Swiss championship in cyclocross his first major title.

In 2007 he stood as a third party for the first time on the podium of the elite World Championships.

2008 bird was European champion and he succeeded in winning the race in Fort William, a first victory in the World Cup. At the World Championships in Val di Sole (Italy ), Florian Vogel second behind Christoph Sauser. According to his good results as the season progresses bird was nominated for the Olympic Games in Beijing.

In the years 2008, 2009 and 2011, he won the Swiss championship in mountain bike cross-country.

On the occasion of the European Championships 2011 in Dohnany (Slovakia ), he won the bronze medal in the cross-country discipline.

Vogel is a member of Thomas Frisch servant Scott -Swiss Power Team mountain bike.
