Florida State Road 7
The Florida State Road 7 (short FL 7) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Florida, which runs in a south-north direction. It begins at U.S. Highway 41 in Miami and ends on Persimmon Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach.
Route
The State Road begins at the intersection of Tamiami Trail ( U.S. 41 ) in Miami, which is also the southern terminus of U.S. Highway 441. State Road 968 and the Miami River to be crossed in the north in the city of Miami, before the track runs parallel to Interstate 95 in close proximity to the Golden Glades Interchange. There is an interchange at State Road 9, to State Road 826 ( Palmetto Expressway), on the Florida 's Turnpike and Interstate 95 In Davie in Broward County Interstate 595 (Port Everglades Expressway) is crossed. The route is not signposted in Miami -Dade County as State Road 7. Only in Broward County appeared on the label on the green signs at intersections. In Palm Beach County the designation as State Road 7 adjacent to the U.S. 441 is led equally. The Highway accompanies the State Road to Royal Palm Beach, where he branches off to the west to Lake Okeechobee. The State Road 7 finally ends around nine kilometers north on Persimmon Boulevard in Royal Palm Beach.
History
The designation as State Road 7 was introduced in 1945 as part of an extensive renumbering of the State Route system of Florida. 2007-2011 ended the road in the south during a new building on the Miami River bridge. 2009 opened a six- kilometer ring road in Royal Palm Beach, the 7 State Road connects as an extension of State Road 704 to the north of the parish on Persimmon Boulevard.
