Florida State Road 924

The Florida State Road 924 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Florida, the highway-like locally -developed western section is also known as Gratigny Parkway. It leads to a length of about 13 kilometers from Miami Lakes to North Miami in Miami -Dade County. The road is operated by the Miami -Dade Expressway Authority.

Route

The SR 924 begins at Miami Lakes at the motorway interchange with the Palmetto Expressway ( SR 826 ) and Interstate 75 First, the State Roads 823 and 953 crossed before the expansion state ends after just 8 km Westview as expressway. Subsequently, the State Road 9 and later the SR 7/US 441 and Interstate 95 crossed before the State Road 1.5 km east of the Interstate ends at North Miami.

Toll

Tolls are collected electronically since June 7, 2010. The removed as part of the State highway Road has three toll bridges, are collected where each $ 0.65 ( $ 0.50 with SunPass ) in each direction.

History

The construction of the section of Miami Lakes to Westview started in 1987, and in January 1992, the highway was opened.
