Fløtemysost

The Fløtemysost ( Rahmmolkenkäse ) is a semi-solid Norwegian cheese that belongs to the brown cheese. In the production of whey is mixed with cow's milk and cream and cooked until the milk sugar caramelized. The cheese tastes like all whey cheese sweet caramel with a slightly acidic note. Since no goat's milk is used, it is milder than other brown cheese.

The fat content of classical variety is 33 %. There is also a fat-reduced and a more sweetened version.
