Flurgönder

A Flurgönder ( also briefly Gönder and dialect Schwoarte - Gönder ) is a meat specialty in the Fulda country. It is a raw, smoked rind stomach in the form of bubbles, which is cooked and served with noodles.

He therefore called " Flurgönder " because he is particularly held by the Fulda in the Catholic country and the Rhön Ascension and Corpus Christi processions served by " field and meadow "; " Gönder " is a vernacular term for a raw, smoked brawn.

For the regional and seasonal specialty butcher each has its own recipe. The Flurgönder to be " per centimeter diameter ten minutes hot, but not boiling water " pull left and is usually served together with the noodles with bread crumbs, a green salad or apple sauce.
