Nas Air (Arabic: طيران ناس ) is a Saudi low-cost airline based in Riyadh and a subsidiary of National Air Services.

History

Nas Air was founded in 2006 as the first low-cost airline of Saudi Arabia. The first commercial flight took place on 25 February 2007. The airline grew rapidly after its launch, so they can now have a network of 30 destinations and 450 weekly flights. In addition Nasair claims to own the youngest fleet in the Arab world.

Nasair waived as a low cost airline, inter alia, free refreshments and long bottom times. Compared to many other low cost airlines granted Nasair per passenger one piece of checked baggage at no extra charge.

Fleet

As of March 2014, the fleet of 21 aircraft consists of Flynas:

  • 20 Airbus A320 -200 ( 1 operated by Jazeera Airways )
  • 01 Boeing 747-400 ( operated by Eagle Air Charter Xpress )
