Focus Gesundheit
Focus Health, also FOCUS HEALTH, was a German, Munich -based pay- TV channel which commenced its broadcasting on 1 June 2005. The program could until January 7, 2010 exclusively through Premiere, later referred sky, then this distribution channel has been set. Starting in February, the program will be marketed via cable and IPTV kiosk. The broadcasting regulatory approval received by the transmitter, the Bavarian Regulatory Authority for Commercial Broadcasting, BLM in Munich. The current authorization period will run until 31 May 2013.
On August 6, 2010 it was announced that the station cease trading on August 31, 2010 at Unity Media and on 15 September 2010 completely in cable stand for lack of " economic conditions for a meaningful continuation ".
Program content
As television division program this channel mainly deals in documentaries and reports with the topics of health, nutrition, care, travel, medicine, research and psychology. Are sent self-produced and purchased movies from home and abroad. The transmitter is organized by the Focus TV Production GmbH, which also produces other TV formats for German free- TV channels.
