Folarin Campbell

Folarin Yaoui Campbell ( born February 27, 1986 in Lanham, Maryland ) is an American professional basketball player of Nigerian origin. After studying in his native country, he played in 2008, first as a professional one season in the Italian first division Lega Basket Serie A in Rieti. From 2009 to 2011, he then played two seasons in the German Basketball League, first with the Artland Dragons and in the following season at the Telekom Baskets Bonn. In March 2011, Campbell left the Bonn and returned in April 2011 back to Italy. After a stopover at the Latvian BK Ventspils Campbell plays in the 2013/14 season again in Italy, where he will also play in the top division Lega Basket Serie A for Enel Brindisi for the first time.

Career

Campbell first played at the College of the Patriots of George Mason University, with whom he the Final Four tournament of the NCAA Men 's Division I Basketball Championship reached 2006. His first club abroad in 2008 was the Italian Serie A club Solsonica Rieti. The season 2009/2010 he was active in the Artland Dragons, was awarded for the 2010/2011 season, however, no new contract.
