Folimage
Folimage is an animation studio in Valence based in the South of France, under the direction of Jacques- Rémy Girerd.
History
The studio was founded in 1984 and specialized in the traditional animation techniques such as animation and stop motion.
Folimage produced a large number of short films in a wide variety of techniques and styles. Also created for television and for student films the studio animations. 2003 established with The Secret of the Frogs of the first feature-length film, which brought the studio international notoriety. Folimage movies ran successfully at festivals around the world and have won over 50 awards.
As part of an Artist in Residence program each year, two artists from outside of the ability to produce a film in Folimage studio. In addition Folimage in 1999 founded the animation school " La Poudrière - Animated Film School ", which was also established in Valence.
