Folkling
Folkling ( German: Folk Lingen ) is a commune with 1336 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Forbach, in the canton of Behren- lès -Forbach and the Local Government Association, Forbach Porte de France.
Geography
Folkling is located about four kilometers south of Forbach and thus close to the border of the Saarland.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1266 as Folchelinga. Other names were Fourkelinges (1280 ), Folke Lingen ( 1395 ), Folkelinga ( 1544), Foleckling (1801 ) and Folckling ( 1900).

- Church Saint- Eloi, erected in 1725 and enlarged in the 19th century. For church furnishings include a high altar with baldachin, a relic of Saint Valentine and a pulpit from the 18th century.
