Follo FK

Follo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Ski. The club was founded in 2000 and plays its home games at the ski stadium in ski out. Currently plays Follo Fotball in the Norwegian Adecco Ligaen, the second- highest division of the country.

History

Follo Fotballklubb was founded in 2000. The newly formed club was an amalgamation of six local teams, namely Ås IL, Oppegård IL, Langhus IL, Ski IL, IL Nordby and Vestby IL.

For the first time the fledgling club made ​​in 2006 attracted attention, as they came in the Norwegian Cup to the quarterfinals before being passed to the eventual finalists Sandefjord Fotball failed. On the way to the quarterfinals, the team defeated among others the first division club Molde FK. Four years later, in 2010, Follo Fotball and once again stir in the cup. After victories over Lillestrøm SK, FK Tønsberg, Sogndal Fotball and record champions Rosenborg Trondheim, the club reached the final of the Norwegian Cup, where they met Strømsgodset IF.
