Follyfoot

The Follyfoot farm was a 39 -part British television series that was produced from 1971 to 1973 near Leeds in North Yorkshire, England. The stories were based on the youth novels Cobbler's Dream ( 1963) and Follyfoot (1971 ) by Monica Dickens. The German premiere began on 2 October 1973 at the eve of the ZDF program.

The theme music The Lightning Tree, written by Steven Francis and sung by the band The Settlers, was ranked 36th in the British charts

As many successful television series at the time was also used to Follyfoot farm a comic book series, published in Germany in the Bastion publisher. The record label Europe brought out a radio play.
