Folque

Folque is a Norwegian folk rock band. It was founded in 1973 by Morten Bing, Jørn Jensen, Eilif Amundsen, Lisa Helljesen, Espen Løvstad, Trond Øverland and Trond Villa. The previous project, founded in 1972, was first called " Brød & Vin " (bread and wine), but was renamed in spring 1973 in Folque after other musicians and traditional instruments had been included in the ensemble.

The band broke up in 1984, but resigned in 1994 and again in 2004 live on.

Their musical style is related to that of the French and the British Malicorne Steeleye Span.

Except for the CD " Stormkast " published the albums by Folque in LP format, the first three albums were re-released on CD.
