Fomins and Kleins

Fomin & Klein was a Latvian pop-rock band that existed from 2002 to 2006. The front people were the singer Ivo Fomin and guitarist Tomas Klein, also still joined at live gigs other musicians added.

The musicians who were both active previously in the Latvian rock scene in 2002 received a record deal, and had to be recorded not only a debut album called Muzikants but also some radio hits of 2003.

The group won the national qualifying round and was therefore entitled to the semi-finals of Euro Vision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul compete for their country. But with the rock song Dziesma par Laimi they missed with 17th place in the final.
