Foni Bondali
Foni Bondali is one of 35 districts - the second highest level of administrative divisions - the West African nation of Gambia. It is one of nine districts in the West Coast region.

The name is derived from Foni, a former small kingdom.

Population
According to a survey of 1993 ( former census ), the largest ethnic group of the Jola with a share of around five tenths, followed by the Mandinka and the Fula. The distribution in detail: 16.7 % Mandinka, Fula 26.1%, 1.1% Wolof, Jola 50.9%, 0 % Serahule, 0.7 % Serer, Aku 0%, 0 % Manjago, 0.6 Bambara % and 3.9 % other ethnicities.
