Fontanafredda

The community Fontanafredda ( Friulian Fontane Frederico ) is located in the northeast of Italy in the Friuli- Venezia Giulia in the province of Pordenone. It is located west of Pordenone and has 11,678 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) on an area of 46.3 km ². Fontanafredda is located approximately eight kilometers from Pordenone. The seat of the municipality is located in the district of Vigonovo.

The municipality covers not only the main town Fontanafredda eleven other villages and hamlets ( Frazioni ): Camolli - Casut, Ceolini, Forcate, Nave, Pieve, Ranzano, Romano, Ronche, Talmasson, Vigonovo and Villadolt. The neighboring municipalities are Aviano, Brugnera, Budoia, Caneva, Polcenigo, Porcia, Roveredo in Piano and Sacile.
