Fool's Gold ( Original title: Fool's Gold) is a romantic adventure film from 2008 by director Andy Tennant, who was also involved in the screenplay. The film stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.

Ben " Finn" Finnegan is a treasure hunter who is obsessed with finding a legendary treasure. On July 24, 1715 launched a fleet of ships with treasures from Havana to Spain and disappeared in a hurricane seven days later. Their precious cargo Finn tried to find on the ocean floor.
