Football at the 1987 Pan American Games

For the tenth time in 1987 football tournament were carried out at Pan-American Games. It was held in Indianapolis between 9 and 21 August 1987.

Twelve teams took part, who entered first in three preliminary groups against each other. The qualifying teams then played in the knockout system on.
