Football at the 2011 Pacific Games
In the XIV Pacific Games in 2011, which took place for the fourth time in New Caledonia, two competitions were held in football. On the men's tournament, eleven, at the Tournament of Women, which was held for the third time after 2003, nine teams participate. The games were held in the period from 27 August to 9 September 2011 at the Stade Riviere Salee, at the Stade PLGC and the Stade Numa- Daly all in Noumea and the Stade Boewa in Boulari, at the Stade Yoshida in Koné and the Stade Hnassé in Lifou discharged.

Men Tournament
It was played in two groups, each with six or five teams. The first and second position in their group reached the semi-finals. The games against Kiribati and Tuvalu are not rated by FIFA as the official international matches, as these organizations are not members of FIFA. They have therefore no influence on the world ranking placement. The team from Neukalendonien was able to use the home advantage and for the sixth time to win the tournament, which New Caledonia is now the sole record holder.

Women's tournament
It was played in two groups a five or four teams. The first and second position in their group reached the semi-finals. Winner for the third year the players from Papua New Guinea.

All the games of Gruppenpahase took place in Noumea at the Stade PLGC.
