Foothills

Foothills are in geomorphology the hills at the base ( foot ) of a mountain range that rise gradually from the foreshore. The summit typically exceed the timberline not, the less high mountain regions and hill areas are geologically among the rocks of the mountains, geographically but they are usually still the foothills attributed. As a major mountain range mountain foothills are also referred to as Edge Mountains.
