Foppe de Haan

Foppe de Haan ( born June 26, 1943 in Lippenhuizen ) is a Dutch football coach. By the end of the 2010/11 season he coached the South African first division club Ajax Cape Town; in the season 2011/ 12, the national Tuvalu.

Career

1974 de Haan began his coaching career at VV Akkrum. A short time later he came to SC Heerenveen, which he supervised for a year as a youth coach. Between 1977 and 1985 he had further stations in the Netherlands. In 1985 he then signed again at SC Heerenveen a contract. This he remained faithful until 2004. A period that previously could outbid still no coach in the Netherlands. In 1993, he led the then second division side in the Eredivisie. 1999 Heerenveen was de Haan runner-up and qualified for the first time in the club's UEFA Champions League. Coach of Jong Oranje

In 2004, de Haan as coach of the U -21 national team of the Netherlands.
