For Love is a comedy film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld from the year 1993. 's Comedy Michael J. Fox and Gabrielle Anwar play the lead roles. In France, the movie was released under the title Le Concierge du Bradbury, in Italy ' Amore con interessi ', in Spain under a su medida Conserje, in Argentina Por amor por dinero o and in Poland under Pieniądze albo miłość.

Action

Doug Ireland is a concierge of a luxury hotel, of Bradbury ( the facade of " The Pierre " in New York City served as the backdrop ). There is hardly a request he can not meet the guests. These thank for it then with a " 50 dollar handshake ". Of these gratuities which he saves iron, Doug wants to one day open his own hotel. He has made a potential object identify, but needs three million dollars to turn the vacant building ( s ) a dream hotel.

One of the guests, Christian Hanover could come as an investor of the planned hotel in question. He asks Doug also, to look after his friend Andy Hart. Here Doug Andy comes closer than he had planned and falls in love with her. He shows her even the potential object.

His feelings for Andy put him in a quandary ( it plays the original title - love or money - to ) because he hopes calculated from their friend help. He also serves on an employee of the tax authority in the neck. Hanover feigns him, Doug could avoid persecution by tax authorities when he him - as a sham transaction - overwrite the object.

It later turns out that the Taxman is an acquaintance of Hanover, which should help this, Doug ways to steal the lucrative object. But Doug rips the prepared contracts, after he found out that Hanover Andy does not really love. Andy, actually with Hanover on the way to Italy, where the fraud comes to Doug on the track and ends the Christian love affair with.
