Forbidden is the 18th studio album by the British heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It was released in June 1995.

Formation and style

For Forbidden to Black Sabbath were doing back in the cast of the album Tyr together, Neil Murray and Cozy Powell came back. The band worked in Liverpool and Los Angeles with producer Ernie C of Body Count, which should breathe new life into the band's sound. The first track of the album, The Illusion of Power, was heard in the bridge rapper and Body Count frontman Ice-T. The restrained to negative reactions to the album were a reason that Tony Iommi put the effort with this cast on ice and later with a reunion tour with Ozzy Osbourne tried little.

Reception

Bradley Torreano of Allmusic wrote that it was difficult to name the worst Black Sabbath album, but this could be it. Forbidden as "boring songs, awful production, and uninspired performances a musician " on. He forgave and a half stars out of five.
