Force Motors

Force Motors is an Indian manufacturer of commercial vehicles and SUVs, and part of the Firodia group.

History

1958, the company was founded Bajaj Tempo to manufacture the pace tricycle under license. As Vidal & Sohn (producer of pace - tricycle ) was taken over by Hanomag Hanomag and was later acquired by Mercedes -Benz, also built under license by various Hanomag and Mercedes -Benz models at Bajaj have been made in each case. So Bajaj built out of the tricycle and the Tempo Matador, later the Harburg transporter. This has now been replaced by the Force Traveller, a (slightly modernized ) replica of the former Mercedes -Benz T 1

1988 SUV Trax was presented. 2006 there was a joint venture with MAN to manufacture heavy trucks.

From Bajaj Tempo, the Force Motors was established in 2006. Today, Force Motors is building tricycles, tractors, vans, buses, SUVs and heavy trucks.
