Ford Edge (2006-2010)

The Ford Edge is a so-called crossover (CUV ) from Ford, which was presented to show the public in January 2006 at the North American International Auto Show. The production of the Edge began in October 2006. The Ford Edge is built on the platform of the previous generation model of the Mazda 6 and shares components with the Lincoln MKX. The Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX were the first models where a new 3.5 -liter V6 gasoline engine with 197 kW/269 hp was used.

Facelift
