Ford Festiva

Kia Avella

The Kia Avella was a small car from Kia Motors. It was built between 1994 and 1998.

In North America and some Southeast Asian countries, it was sold under the name Ford Aspire, Japan and Australia with the name Ford Festiva. From Kia Germany this vehicle was never offered. The notchback version of the Kia Avella said Kia Delta.

In the first year 115 576 units have been sold, in 1998 the sales had dropped to 27,850 pieces. Its successor was the Kia Rio.

Sales of the Ford Aspire ended in 1997, only in 2010 the segment was occupied as early as the 70s by the Ford Fiesta in North America again. The Ford Festiva was sold in Australia until 2010 and there replaced by the Ford Ka I. In Japan, the Festiva 1996 was replaced by the Ford Festiva Mini Wagon based on the Mazda Demio.
