All motors used in the Galaxy meet the Euro 4 emission norms. Apart from the already detached 1.8-liter diesel variant, all are fitted with a particulate filter. All engine variants described are or were available on the German market. In other markets, even a 92 kW ( 125 hp ) version of the 1.8-liter diesel engine will be offered.

The new Galaxy has a standard third row seat back that can be sunk together with the middle completely in the soil. All seats are individually movable and have height adjustable head restraints and three - point belts. A novelty in the Galaxy is subject to surcharge, far back reaching panoramic glass roof with a central longitudinal ridge with integrated storage.

Facelift

In May 2010, the second generation received a facelift (Galaxy '10 ).
