Ford Maverick

The model name Ford Maverick was already used by the car manufacturer Ford several times.

Once the name Maverick designated in North America from 1969 to 1977 selling model of the lower middle class, which was also manufactured in Brazil from 1973 to 1979 (see Ford Maverick (USA) ); to another in Europe, several SUVs. Finally, a 1988 to 1998 sold in Australia version of the Nissan Patrol was there called by that name.

In Europe, a version of the Nissan Terrano was marketed from 1993 to 2000 with a slight modification as Ford Maverick from 2000 to 2007, a version of the Ford Escape sold in North America (see Ford Maverick ( Europe) ), which was almost identical with the Mazda Tribute.
