Ford Ranchero
The Ford Ranchero is a model of the U.S. automobile company Ford It was built from 1957 in the U.S. and was then a new form of so-called limousine pickups (also known as car -truck or Ranch Wagon ). Only two years later, a similar model of Chevrolet, the El Camino came on the market. The Ranchero was based on the existing Ford sedans like the Fairlane ( 1957-59 ), the Falcon ( 1960-66 ), the Torino ( 1968-76 ) and the LTD II ( 1977-79 ).
He had a three-seat front bench and an open cargo area. As there were simple six-cylinder engines with 144 hp to the V8 with 335 hp ( 428 cui 1969 with the cobra jet V8). It was built and sold until 1979. In Australia, Ford continues to produce a pick -up, which can be seen as a continuation of the Ranchero, Falcon Ute.
