Forest Mountain
The Forest Mountain ( Russian: Лecoгopнaя, Lesogornaja ) is a breed of pig from Armenia.
Breeding history
The breed was developed by crossing native sows from Northern and Eastern Armenia with boars of the breeds Large White and mangalica pig.

- Chest deep and broad
- Body long
- High foundation with strong claws
- Bristles are dense with undercoat
- Weight sows 165 kg, 260 kg boar
- Hardness and adaptability to arid mountain pastures
There are 4 sire lines.
Occurrence
The race is held in the forest and mountain regions of Armenia. In 1980 there were 579 purebred animals.
