Installation width

The distance between the dropouts is referred to as paving width. The width of the rear wheel hub must be chosen to match the width of the mounting frame. A compilation diving or bending apart of the rear triangle to fit a not exactly fitting hub can, is possible, but not recommended because of the frame can be damaged and are no longer mutually plane parallel to the dropouts thereafter, leading to problems when setting the circuit can result. Bike shops have special tools, with which you can align dropouts and derailleur hanger.
