Forlandet-Nationalpark

The Forlandet National Park (Norwegian Forlandet nasjonalpark ) is a 4647 km ² national park on the Norwegian island of Svalbard. It comprises the island of Prins Karls Forland. The park area covers 616 km ² and 4031 km ² mainland sea surface. The park is one of seven national parks in Svalbard. It was founded in 1973.

The park contains the world's northernmost populations of seals and guillemots. There are two bird sanctuaries in the National Park, which may not be visited from May 15 to August 15. The island should not be traveled by motorized vehicles.
