Formula Rossa in Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is a steel roller coaster manufacturer Intamin, which opened in November 2010. It is the fastest roller coaster in the world with a top speed of 240 km / h

The 2070 m long and 52 m high haul based on the layout of the roller coasters Desert Race and Rita, but has due to the higher speed, larger curve radii. The trains are accelerated by a 15,300 kW hydraulic system acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 240 km / h in 4.9 seconds. Formula Rossa has two trains racing car design with four cars. In each car four persons ( two rows ) can take place. As a lap bar restraint system are used. The trains have already been presented in May 2010 at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona together with the Ferrari Formula 1 team.
