Geography

Forstinning lies in the Munich region on the northern edge of Ebersberg Forst in the Munich gravel plain adjacent to the district of Erding. Forstinning located approximately 26 km east of the city of Munich, 18 km south of Erding, 24 km west of Hague, 12 km north of the county town of Ebersberg and 30 km from Munich Airport.

There is only the district forestry inning. Districts are Aich, Aitersteinering, Mountain, Köckmühle, Kressiermühle, Moss, Neupullach, Lower Ried, Salzburg, shot mill, Schwaberwegen, Sempt, Siegstätt, Steffelbauer mill Wagmühle, wind and Wolfsmühle.

History

Forestry inning was first mentioned in 804 as " Undeoingas " and later belonged to Rentamt Munich and the Court of Swabia ( had his seat in today's market Swabia) of the Electorate of Bavaria. Settlement traces indicate that the municipality has been inhabited earlier. So there are in the district Aitersteinering a Keltenschanze, which is, however leveled by agricultural tillage almost. In the district Sempt a bronze ram figurine from the Celtic period was found by a farmer, which is preserved in the prehistoric State Collection in Munich.

On July 14, 1894 Forest inning was hit by a tornado that moved severe devastation after themselves.

  • Thomas Hitzlsperger ( born April 5, 1982 in Munich ), former professional football player and German international footballer, grew up in the district Wagmühle, attended elementary school in Forest inning and played the local club VfB forest inning.
