Forstwald is a district of Krefeld with 3,516 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2011).

The area originally belonged to the territory of the former municipality of Vorst, which since 1970 is itself a neighborhood of today's neighboring city Tönisvorst, and which the Krefeld Kaufmann Gerhard Schumacher sold at that time.
