Forsyth is a small town in Taney County, Missouri, United States, located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo and Bull Shoals Lake. In the year 2000 1.686 inhabitants were counted. The city has an area of 5.3 km ².

History

Forsyth was registered on 15 December 1890. Middle of the century were made ​​plans to dam the White River, about 80 miles below Forsyth. It was 1950, resettlement approximately 2 miles west of the original town on the site of a golf course. The area of the original town is now called the Shadow Rock Park.
