Fort Gordon

Fort Gordon is a military base of the U.S. Army in Augusta ( Georgia).

The institution was founded in 1917 and is named after John Brown Gordon. From 1917 to 1942, she hosted the 82nd Infantry Division, at times, the military police.

Today, the U.S. Army Signal Corps is primarily stationed there. The site is occupied by approximately 30,000 people.
