Fort Kent is a town in the north of the U.S. state of Maine. It belongs administratively to the Aroostook County. Fort Kent is located east of the Saint John River, which forms at this point the state border between the United States and Canada.

The city hosts the campus of the University of Maine was founded in 1878 at Fort Kent with about 1,100 students and an Olympic Biathlon Training Center.
