Fort Morgan is a city in Morgan County in the U.S. state of Colorado, and its county seat. It is administered as a Home Rule Municipality in 2010 and had approximately 11,300 inhabitants.
The California Zephyr, operated by Amtrak, a long-distance train daily between Chicago and Emeryville stops here in both directions.
At the local airport, the Fort Morgan Municipal Airport, no scheduled flights are operated.
Geography

Thanks to the Interstate 76 Fort Morgan is with the 130 & nbspkm south-west to Denver and connected via Sterling with Interstate 80 in Big Springs, Nebraska. An Interstate shuttle connects Fort Morgan to the eastern Brush. Also through the city leads U.S. Highway 34 connects the Fort Morgan Greeley and Loveland.
The starting point of the Colorado State Highway 52 is located in Fort Morgan. This leads to the north and ends at the Colorado State Highway 14, at Raymer. At this distance is also the local airport.
Demography
At the time of the census of 2000, there were 11,034 persons Fort Morgan. The population density was 955.2 people per km ². There were 4094 housing units at an average 354.4 per km ².
