Fortunato Baliani

Fortunato Baliani (born 6 July 1974 in Foligno, Italy ) is an Italian racing cyclist.

He began his professional career in 1998 at Team Kross. After just one year he went to Selle Italia, who took over the team 's main sponsor. Then the team moved again several times the sponsor, but Baliani remained loyal to the team until the end of the 2002 season. For the 2003 season, he moved to Formaggio Pinzolo Fiavé - Ciarrocchi Immobiliare. Since 2004 he runs Panaria - Navigare for Ceramica.

By 2013 Baliani played eight times the Giro d' Italia and reached seven times the target in Milan; his best finish he achieved in 2008 with twelfth place.
