Forward Prizes for Poetry
The Forward Poetry Prize is a British literary prize.
It was founded in 1991 with the aim of poetry almost bring a wider audience, and is awarded annually for the best collection of poems, the best first collection of poems by an author and the best poem. The Forward Arts Foundation sponsors the award with £ 16,000 and publishes every year, The Forward Poetry Book, an anthology of the best poems of the shortlist.
