Fosowskie

Fosowskie ( German Vossowska; 1936-45 Voss forest ) is a district of Colonnowska (Polish Kolonowskie ) in Poland. It is 1.5 kilometers northwest of Colonnowska at the Malapane in powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

The founder of Colonnowska, Philipp Graf Colonna, was in 1790 on the right bank of the Erzweilerbaches another smelter by a native of Westphalia hut builder Arnold Heinrich Voss ( 1753-1838 ) to build. Also at this facility was a small housing estate for the workers who got the name of the builder.

Beside the cottage in 1858 was a station on the railway from Opole after Tarnowitz. Vossowska became a railway junction in Upper Silesia. 1868 was the route to cross the castle and in 1894 another after Lublinitz. In 1912 recorded a rail link to Great Strehlitz of Vossowska out, followed her 1913, a branch line to the neighboring Guttentag.

The smelter in Vossowska had to be silent as defined in Colonnowska after 1920. Main employer was the built in 1888 Holzdestille.

In 1911 there were in the first Vossowska electricity.

Administratively, the village belonged to the district of Great Strehlitz. In 1936 he received during the renaming wave of Slavic place names in Silesia during the Nazi era the name Voss forest.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and the Silesian Voivodeship was connected and renamed June 28, 1948 in Fosowskie. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship.

After Fosowskie was considered a town-like settlement since 1956, it was named after Colonnowska which thereby received city rights, incorporated in 1973.

In Fosowskie today some wood processing plants are located. The Holzdestille was demolished. The district represents the actual center of Colonnowska
