Found Footage (Genre)
Found Footage ( German: Found footage ) is a film genre that is increasingly common in horror movies. It describes recording material, which is assigned to the deceased or missing persons and found only in hindsight. The pictures are taken personally usually the actor who comment on behind the camera. The acting is mostly improvised. The genre was through movies like The Blair Witch Project (1999), Paranormal Activity (2007) and REC ( 2007) popular.
