Foxtrot

The Foxtrot ( English spelling: Foxtrot, fox walking ) is a social dance that is danced in pairs and one of the ballroom dances of the world dance program.

History

The result is the foxtrot between 1910 and 1915 in North America. Both the dance roots as well as the origin of the name can not be determined with certainty because they contradict clear here numerous sources.

The foxtrot took on elements of ragtime, the one-step, two-step and the choreographed by Vernon and Irene Castle Castle Walk.
