Geographical location

Framersheim located in Rheinhessen hill country on the Selz, at the foot of the 273 meter high Hornbergs.

History

Early Medieval

Framersheim is like most Rhinehessen places on the ending- home a Frankish establishment of the 5/6 Jhds. AD The place is mentioned in a deed of gift of Friderich and Germo to the Lorsch Abbey on February 1 775 the first time. With this donation, the salvation of Reginbodo, Hofreiten, fields, meadows, vineyards, residential and farm buildings in Framersheim and Ibersheim been sent.

Structures

Landmarks are the two over 100 years old churches with their massive towers and the town hall with tower and clock. Interesting are also the newly designed courses " Free space " and " Kautz spots" with their fountains. With the inauguration of the village back home and the new plant of the town square village renewal process is now complete. Other buildings are in the list of cultural monuments in Framersheim.

Sports

The local community has a sports court and a large stud farm and equestrian center, which is operated by Dorothee Schneider. Furthermore, played the card game " Färwele " only in Framersheim.

Specialty

" National dish " are the Framerschemer backesgrumbeere.
